Last month, I met up with the cutest little furry friends, who are behind the adorable @PeakePups on Instagram, in Livingston County at an area park. The dynamic duo consists of Delilah, a 10-year-old Maltese/Chihuahua mix, and Riley, a 3.5-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. Together with their mom, Lauren, we ventured around the park to capture a variety of photos.

We first went to the start of a hiking trail at the park where the light was hitting the trail perfectly. Their mom was worried that Riley would be skeptical of me and this process, but he ended up being quite the model! As you can see below, Riley perfected his head tilt throughout the evening and modeled his fluffy tail! Delilah was not to be outshone by her younger brother and, after investigating the trail, plopped down in the perfect pose.

On our way back from the trail, we came across a picnic table where we perched both dogs for photos with the beautiful sun setting behind them.

As the sun was getting lower in the sky, we moved the Peake Pups out to an open field that had this beautiful, dreamy lighting.

We finished our evening together by Kent Lake to get a few shots with the beautiful water in the background where the dashing duo showed off their good looks!

I was so sad to end our session, as it was the perfect evening with these two munchkins. It was tough to resist putting six-pound Delilah in my purse!
